Fujifilm X-T1 Weatherproof Camera

Fujifilm X-T1

The X-T1 was announced today and brings a lot to the table for a compact mirrorless camera. It features a pleasingly retro look which should appeal to those who love the classic look. It has a substantial grip and plenty of physical buttons, switches, and dials to provide the best control over the image. As far as specification is concerned, one of the camera’s biggest selling points is its incredible viewfinder, which is a 2.36 million-dot OLED with highest magnification of any comparable device (0.77x) and shortest display lag time (only 0.005 seconds).

Another important feature of the X-T1 is weatherproof housing. The camera’s magnesium body is dust-resistant and water-resistant, and a tempered glass on the LCD enables full-fledged field photography without worrying about the weather or season.

There’s also a 16.3 MP APS-C size X-Trans CMOS II4 sensor with very fast AF of .,08 seconds, compatibility with a number of lenses, full HD video recording at 60fps or 30 ps, a 3-inch LCD display, and wireless options for image sharing and remote control.

Fujifilm X-T1 is expected to be available in the UK from mid-end February 2014 starting at £1099.99.
